Digital Imaging Editing (DIE)

This is Vette from Vette's View. Hello, all the creators out there. This is the new class I am taking. I have to jump right in and say this is going to be a challenge. DIE is the process of improving or changing a photo using software. I've learned that a little bit of editing can go a long way when used correctly. Some of the tools used to do editing, I think, are going to be useful:

CROPPING- to focus on the best parts of an image.

REMOVING OBJECTS- (or blemishes) for a cleaner look

ADDING EFFECTS- like blur, text, or filters

These are some tools I feel will be used the most in my pieces. Small fixes like removing red-eye or cropping out unwanted parts can really make a difference in the result of a picture. Whether it be on social media or just a family photo. Creators sometimes and text, change backgrounds and apply fun filters to their pieces to create more creative pieces. This is what I am aiming for from this class.

Just a few clicks can make any photo pop off the screen or paper, with a cleaner, sharper, more creative look. Using Tools like PS, Canva, and even photo apps like Snapseed make editing easier for everyone. So far this is my understanding of DIE. Im looking forward to using these and many more tools to make this class successful.

Thanks for listening. A creator in progress Vette.
